Masken 1k

So the Palm Pilot was a handheld computer in the late 90's and Masken was a very popular snake game that I wrote for it. It's about time there was a version for the ZX81, and it works in 1 kB, no RAM expansion necessary. The machine code is highly optimized to make the game only 320 bytes, necessary to fit it in 1k with a near full screen of 32x21 characters. Ask me. Thanks to suggestions from the guru of 1k development Dr Beep it uses advanced techniques like writing over the system variables and decompressing the screen on load. Buy his book.

The suggested donation for this game hasn't changed since it was released as shareware for the Palm in 1998 but there are no limits in the trial version.

If you don't have a ZX81 the game works in all emulators.
